Young poetry enthusiasts from the 2014 Poetry Festival

Are you a fan of such poets as Dr. Seuss, Emily Dickinson, Shel Silverstein, Jack Prelutsky and Robert Frost?

Budding poets and poetry lovers alike are welcome to participate in the Academic Booster Club's poetry festival, held on Saturday, May 15, 2021, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the Kingsland Park Gazebo (application below), which celebrates the joy of the spoken word.

This will be held outdoors. Bring your own chairs and/or blankets. We will seat family members together in socially distanced groups. Masks are required.

Students in grades K through 6 can read an original poem of their own or a favorite poem by another writer in this noncompetitive event held annually since 2002.
