2018 History Fair
The Academic Booster Club is made up of parents, grandparents, and Nutley residents who believe in the power of academics to transform lives.
Our mission is twofold: to foster a passion for learning through exciting, hands-on activities and to reward and celebrate academic achievement.
To those ends, we sponsor science and history fairs, an annual poetry festival, the National Honor Society dinner, the Kids’ Presidential Election, and the popular Let's Learn summer program.
We also award scholarships each year to three graduating seniors and oversee the Nutley High School Academic Hall of Fame.
Please consider becoming a member of the Nutley ABC! Family memberships cost only $15 a year. Click here to learn more.
"If men could learn from history, what lessons it might teach us! "– Samuel Taylor Coleridge
The biennial History Fair offers students in grades K-6 an exciting opportunity to create and display projects and to compete for recognition by grade. Students develop a deeper appreciation for a historical period, character, or even the historical significance of a favorite hobby. Students can work in groups or individually to share their knowledge and creativity with parents, teachers, and classmates.
The fair also features a wide variety of interactive entertainment, including Civil War reenactors firing a cannon! In addition, the fairs offer crafts tables, book sales, refreshments, and much more.
Adults and children of all ages are welcome to attend our 2018 History Fair, which will take place on March 24, 2018. Register here:
